- I led a class of 27 grade 2 students, working with the students both independently and in groups, doing paperwork, working alongside teachers, preparing lesson plans, and supervising classes. Co-op helped shape multiple skills including:o Making sure the students were on track doing what was supposed to be done, doing tasks assigned to me by the teacher and not using my time unwisely.o Working with multiple teachers to plan out what needed to be done for the next class and addressing and problems or concerns that anyone had.o Maintaining an authoritative position when supervising multiple classes during lunch and during recess, when leading class activities, and working with students.o Creating lesson plans for the class that included reading books and making worksheets about the books for the students to do.

- I conducted and provided cleaning services and organized dishes for a restaurant and developed valuable working experience such as:o Keeping the workspace organized, washing the dishes, loading and unloading the machine washer/dryer, putting away dishes, and then rolling cutlery and serving coffee in between with any extra time I had.o Learning how to work quickly and independently and solve any problems that occurred.o Working at a fast pace to make sure there were enough clean dishes to keep up with the lineups of people.- I also occasionally responding to needs of diners when helping out front and managing tables which helped develop skills such as: o Keeping up with coffee requests from diners and cleaning/setting tables, so they were ready for new customers to be sat.o Maintaining a calm and friendly attitude when engaging with diner and met needs in a timely manner.
