I completed my Honours in Environmental Science through Deakin University in 2023. My research focused on predator prey interactions within the Briars Wildlife Sanctuary, an invasive predator-free reserve on the Mornington Peninsula. My career experience has involved Environmental Education, with a focus on developing hands- on programs that address our most prominent issues in conservation. I currently work at the Briars Nursery growing locally indigenous plants for revegetation of our reserves and urban gardens. Here I continue to gain invaluable skills in plant identification, botany and ecology, and most importantly have become a fully certified plant nerd. In my research and career so far I have developed a keen interested for the ecology and restoration of altered habitats and landscapes, urban ecology and environmental education.
