Undergraduate Biodesign BME 3801-BME 4801 (January 2023- December 2023)Graduate BioInnovate BME6081 (August 2023-December 2023) - Supported 73 undergraduate and 10 graduate students across multiple semesters, aiding with coursework, assignments, and lab management.- Addressed student inquiries and offered targeted guidance to improve comprehension and academic success.- Collaborated with faculty to discuss course materials and update curriculum.- Organized and facilitated group projects and discussions to foster a collaborative learning environment and encourage active student participation.

The focus of the Kopecek/Yang Lab is Macromolecular Therapeutics. I specifically focused my projects on Drug-Free Macromolecular Therapeutics systems (DFMT). Where we developed, characterized, analyzed, and tested the DFMT systems on various types of cancer cells.-Utilized techniques including solid-phase peptide synthesis, cell culture, flow cytometry, high-performance liquid chromatography, confocal microscopy, and data analysis.- Developed and refined research protocols, encompassing experimental design, procedural documentation, result analysis and presentation of findings.- Trained high school student interns.- Collaborated with faculty and research teams to interpret findings, prepare research reports, and present results at departmental meetings and conferences such as Utah Conference of Undergraduate Research and University of Utah Department of Biomedical Engineering Senior Symposium.- Awarded Undergraduate Research Fellowship (UROP) 2022
