I have been lucky to be introduced to the business world at such a young age. First as an intern my junior year in highschool where I have continually developed my skills and knowledge since. It is through this experience where I found my love for accounting.At Auburn University these experiences have led me to join an accounting fraternity for a semester. Throughout that semester I have made countless deep rooted connections and my network has expanded greatly. Not only were connections made through the fraternity, I have met so many people I now consider family. I can say without a doubt that Auburn's culture is unmatched.I would say that my skill set is atypical for the average accountant. I am very personable and have a natural urge to be a leader. I strongly believe this is where I separate from other accountants, I feel as if my ceiling is higher than others in a business.Because of my skill set being different, it is only just that my aspirations are different. I intend to have a strong background in accounting so that I am able to move within a company learning other trades. I have a passion to be in a position of leadership in the future and want to be proficient in all areas of a business.
