Profile bio

About Jaden Rubinstein

Since I was a little boy, I have always wanted to be an Inventor. Countless hours moulding with Play-Doh, building with LEGO and constructing with Meccano kept me occupied through my developmental years. It was of little surprise to my family that this naturally led me to become an Engineer of many hats. Four times in my life my Grandma was truly proud of me, when I got my high-school grades putting me in the top 0.7% of the country’s graduating cohort, when I got a double-scholarship to study at Yale, when I got a paper published in Nature and when I got engaged. She was a tough old bird, but made me realise that these accomplishments had value and were worth celebrating. My Engineering journey has been diverse and challenging. I have been exposed to differing environments ranging from start-ups to Government and Defence. In all of these roles my ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly has been a valuable asset that has allowed me thrive and grow in challenging environments. Graduating with Honours as a Mechanical & Systems Engineer, I can now make claim to also being a Biomedical, Software, Database and Web3 Engineer, depending on what particular hat I am wearing that day.I have always been an enthusiastic guy and I bring this to my work. It is this positive energy and ‘can-do’ attitude that have been noticed time and time again by my colleagues, especially when I back up this ethos with solid deliverables. I’m very proud of my involvement in TradeHill, a BitCoin exchange start-up, which I helped build to be the 2nd largest of its kind globally and 10x bigger than the nearest competitor in OCE, all whilst studying my undergrad. I spent a year as a Founder and CEO at the forefront of the Web3 space, leading a 31 person team of experienced individuals to launch The Estates, a first-of-its-kind NFT project that brought architecturally designed and modelled houses to the metaverse, vr/ar environments, or anywhere else the holder desires.Outside of the office I am a committed volunteer. I have done extensive Rights of Passage work with teenage boys and girls, helping them transition into healthy young adults. In addition I am a regular Plasma Donor, donating every 2 weeks. I am also proficient in Spanish, which I learnt via osmosis whilst living in South America. I really enjoy playing sports and esports, either socially or competitively. When asked what I wanted to be as a 10 year old I responded with, ‘an International Man of Mystery’. So far I have visited 30+ countries across 6 continents and not done yet!

Listed skills include Leadership, Research, Training, Management, and 14 others.
