My name is Jaden Singh, and I am currently working on degrees in history and American studies. My passion for history began when I was younger. I watched historical documentaries covering multiple subject areas, and I was always fascinated by them. Through my time at Miami University, I have had the amazing opportunity to conduct research in my area of interest and perform analysis on various historical topics. I am currently working on an undergraduate thesis that is focused on studying the participation of Native Americans in the United States military during World War I. This is a topic which is often overlooked in the study of history yet is still fascinating and an important part of U.S. history. Work on this has provided me with a great deal of professional growth and personal fulfillment. I am helping to contribute to an ever-growing knowledge of our history, which is foundational to the lives we live today, and I am also pursuing my area of interest in my studies. One of my goals is to foster further development of knowledge and an understanding of our world in a way that benefits everyone.
