As Art Director and Lead Artist at Red Rover, I develop concepts and digital artwork to use on promotional products, as well as edit and enhance existing images. I also provide creative direction and support to both the internal and external client base.

In this role, I designed covers and interiors for a list of ~15 children's titles in InDesign per season (including board, picture, middle grade, and young adult), provided art direction to collaborating illustrators, translated hardcover titles into paperback reissues, communicated directly with freelancers to describe design needs, managed designer agreements/illustrator contracts, organized gallery submissions for the Society of Illustrators Original Art Show and others, and managed deadlines, data, and note-taking for department.

As a consultant to AIC, I contributed my knowledge of working with children and creating engaging curricula in an effort to reconstruct their K-12 tours.

As a TA, I developed curricula for sixth through twelfth graders and taught skills in the realm of illustration, comics, children’s books, and 3-D design.

As a tutor, I facilitated the learning of both undergraduate and graduate students by utilizing my mastery in the Adobe Design Suite and writing skills.

As a Design Intern, I presented potential illustrators in Illustrator Search Meetings, created dummy copies and advanced materials, facilitated the data collection of their body of illustrators, and scanned and logged original art alongside the application of digital corrections.
