I am a Sydney-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (Artist Name: JADE STEG). I express my musical artistry through, vocals, keys, electric and acoustic guitar, and saxophone. I perform solo, as a duo and am the lead in a six-piece band.My music combines soulful authenticity across several genres including soul, R&B, pop and jazz. Jade has the ability to connect and captivate audiences of all ages through my full-hearted songwriting skills, vocal artistry and engaging live performances.In my emerging career, I have worked with the likes of The Veronicas on a Music Doco-series, platinum producer James Angus, award-winning music producer, Storm Ashwood. I was honoured to gain international attention after placing 3rd in the American Songwriter 2021 song contest with her debut original release 'RIGHT AT THE WRONG TIME'.I have 34 registered original works and have written over 70 in total. I have collaborated with a very diverse range of musicians, from Jazz crooners to Electronic Pop DJ’s. In June 2022 I graduated from the renowned Talent Development Project mentored by Aussie music icon Peter Cousens. My first solo show (220 people) was sold out. In 2022 I completed an Advanced Diploma of Music .I am a regular performer at clubs all over Sydney, at ICC Aware Super Lounge Pre Shows, Govt. and corporate events, awards nights and private events. My music inspirations include; Alicia Keys, Allen Stone, Nora Jones, Aretha Franklin, The Teskey Brothers, JP Cooper, H.E.R. and Budjerah.I am currently working on my ‘Timeless Ten’ singles Project and my next headline shows. In addition to my extensive music performance experience, I have experience in show production, operations and promotions. I am also well-versed in various music and creative arts genres including musical theatre as well as industry trends and developments. I can handle a wide range of administrative tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. I have experience with contracts, copyright laws, and budgeting and invoicing. I have good organisational and time management skills, coupled with my attention to detail.Furthermore, I am proficient in using various software applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, video editing software and various sound production programs such as Logic.
