Harshad is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, bringing extensive experience in biopharmaceutics with a focus on Physiologically Based Biopharmaceutics Modeling (PBBM) and Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling. At AstraZeneca, he concentrates on predictive models for drug absorption in the colon and extended-release formulations. As part of the Horizon 2020 funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie ITN COLOTAN project, Harshad collaborates with KU Leuven, bridging academia and industry to enhance biopharmaceutical modeling and drug discovery. He has published in esteemed journals and presented at global conferences, demonstrating his commitment to advancing drug development. His technical expertise, collaborative skills, and passion for biopharmaceutics drive his dedication to improving patient outcomes.
