At V-Guard, my role as a Product Designer marries innovation with practicality, where I've led the design of a range of home appliances from concept to market, including award-winning projects. My educational background from the NID-Bangalore in Industrial and Product Design, coupled with a foundation in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Jodhpur, collaboration with IIT Madras and Award-winning project with Indian Government underpins my approach.Driven by the motto of enhancing user experiences, my journey includes developing assistive devices that empower individuals with movement impairments. This reflects my commitment to inclusive design, a principle fostered during my Master's studies in Universal Design at NID. Our team's success at the Hand Hygiene Hackathon exemplifies our collaborative spirit and dedication to product innovation.Currently, working with experience designer team at V-Guard, I am working on projects like award winning ceiling fan Insight-G, TPW Fans segment, Modular switches, and Stabilizers, along with Mixer grinder and water heater projects. I am also active part of Product research, Market research, Design strategy, Customer Insights and pre/post design validation exercise.My strengths include creative, organizational, and analytical thinking, product planning and development, managing design and engineering teams, interdisciplinary teamwork, generating functional forms, and visualizing concepts. My work experience over the years has helped me understand the product development cycle. In addition to designing, I work closely with R & D, production, NPD, CMF design team, sourcing, vendor development and quality teams to ensure a smooth product launch. Working with OEMs and ODMs, managing individual vendors in various categories, and instilling color, material, and finish diversity to match market trends. My interest in strategic management has led me to be able to create product launch strategies, photo realistic assets such as product renders, and product videos for each product. Working closely with the engineering team to ensure that product is delivered with the goal of elevating existing products to higher levels of performance through product pricing, advance manufacturing and new materials implementations. Operating with emerging market needs and various R&D teams has given me a strong grasp on visualizing and innovating next generation technology and products. I have worked with leading multinational corporations to develop this comprehensive solution while keeping strategic and business needs in mind.
