I was recruited to drive comprehensive root cause analysis in resolving all manufacturing non-conformances (NCR) within the set 24-hour turnaround time.This included addressing out-of-specification subparts from subcontractors while forging cross-functional collaboration with various departments in conceiving effective engineering solutions for complex issues.In addition to reviewing and approving all subcontractor deviation requests, I also contributed to subcontractors' understanding of engineering specifications and drawings.Besides that, I performed engineering changes on BOM, drawings and procedures, as well as monitoring and ensuring all activities are carried out in line with set procedures.Lastly, I provided coaching and guidance to junior team members.Achievements♦ Championed the identification and mitigation of manufacturing issues to successfully increase the closure of non-conformances from 84% to 96%.♦ Instrumental in adopting the Poka-Yoke principle to enhance Right-First-Time subcontractors request submissions from 72% to 90%.
