I am a published materials scientist with 5+ years of research experience in energy-harvesting materials. I use my materials science expertise and tech know-how to help investors understand the technology needed to accelerate energy transition and decarbonize our economy.The pinnacle of my work is maximizing the impact of green investing and strategically guides cash flows to support science-based solutions. I’m interested in sustainable materials technologies, alternative proteins & precision fermentation, and blended green finance to name a few.Having lived in the UAE for 10+ years, I have a strong understanding of the local R&D ecosystem. I’m looking to be involved in initiatives that support home-grown talent, grow entrepreneurial research capacity, and commercialize science and technology innovation, particularly those that address local challenges. I put people and the environment first in everything that I do.I have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Materials Science. I researched the application of smart materials as energy-harvesting elements that mimic natural processes in converting light and thermal energy into mechanical work. I’ve done extensive work on science communication, an essential tool in addressing climate change through public engagement.
