I headed the System Management and subsequently the Development Unit 2 section in the Installable Applications department, responsible for SW Architecture & Configuration Management respectively Project Management consisting of 9 and 8 people. The objective of the department was to deliver high quality mobile applications (Android), as specified in collaboration with product planning, often at a late stage on external customer request. Activities during this time apart from day to day management tasks ranged from recruitment, performance management, team building and group conflict resolution, department reorganization & role definition, negotiations, selection and relationship building with external vendors and department strategy definition.

I headed a change project creating a new work stream in the Installable Applications department with a broad impact from how we work on daily basis, to resource setup, and the department strategy and mission. The puropse of the stream was to create a fast track for verification and integration of Android applications.

I managed the Sony Ericsson PC Suite and subsequently in a small team defined, did RFI / RFQ, planned, executed and delivered the successor - Sony Ericsson PC Companion, used to manage your phone from the computer, perform firmware update, and much more.
