Engineering Intern
CurrentMechanical Engineering intern at Swagelok, a global leader in fluid system solutions. Utilizing SolidWorks, designed dozens of parts and assemblies, as well as conducted several detailed motion studies. Additionally, gained hands-on experience in fabricating parts utilizing advanced 3D printing techniques, laser and water-jet cutting, and machining methods. Additionally, in collaboration with a colleague, programmed and integrated optical components into a vision system(VS). This experience culminated in my spearheading the end-to-end development of a quality gate VS for high-pressure fluid components most prevalently used in hydrogen applications. Additionally, I engineered and validated an apparatus to measure the coefficient of friction in fluid system fittings, as well as constructed and wired three electrical control boxes to automate various processes on the shop floor.
