-Install and de-install on shows including 50th-anniversary exhibition Revolutions: Art from the Hirshhorn Collection 1860-1960; Simone Leigh; A Window Suddenly Opens: Contemporary Photography in China; OSGEMEOS: Endless Story; BASQUIAT X BANKSY-Installation of paintings, sculptures, art objects, labels, vinyl, and security components.-Minor fabrication of installation components, operating lifts, and gantry cranes, gallery and facade painting, and installation of paintings, sculptures, and art objects-Loading/ unloading and moving of large-scale crates from trucks, soft-packing artworks, use of electric and hand pallet jacks and electric stackers for object shipment and storage, and adding hanging hardware to frames for storage and display-Assisting the Collections Management's office with refining the organization of collections storage, both on-site at the Museum and off-site at the Smithsonian’s Museum Support Center

-Install and de-install of art objects and immersive installation environments within the gallery for exhibitions of emerging and mid-career artists from the Washington Metropolitan area-Packing and transporting artwork via 36’ trucks-Patching, sealing, and painting gallery walls before and after de-install-Rigging hanging systems for the exhibition of artwork, as well as designing and building mounts to support objects such as a piano harp in free-standing positions-Lighting design and A/V experience in limited capacity-Vinyl application and removal on gallery walls, and glass doors-Gallery and storage maintenance

-Installation and de-installation of exhibitions and interactive spaces at institutions as varied as the Phillips Collection and the Children’s Museum-Unloading and loading of large-scale crates using hand and electric pallet jacks and walkie stackers, pry-level or j bars, and dollys-Passed the Broad Museum’s Diversity Apprenticeship Program art handling curriculum

-Curatorial scheduling for the 2023 calendar year alongside the Chief Curator.-Planning, designing, and fabricating a pop-up gallery wall, featuring new artists every month.-Managing facilities of the gallery and the attached gift stores

Managed the objects' intake and discharge to and from the gallery including the preparation of condition reports, insurance forms, photographic documentation, and artist checklists for national and international artists. Aided in exhibition design and installation for 4 consecutive shows, including the generation of 3D models of the exhibition layout. Managed the galleries' Instagram account and increased audience interaction by 350% over a period of 4 months during the summer of 2022. Direct assistant to Curator, Dr. J Susan Isaacs, and Director, Dr. Erin Lehman, of the Center of Fine Arts and Holtzman MFA Galleries. Volunteered to work with the museum education department to assist in their mobile art programs for Title 1 schools.

Directly assisted in curating the Summer 2022 show "collect." under the instruction of Dr. Erin Lehman and Dr. J. Susan Isaacs, while simultaneously coordinating three concurrent student shows. Additionally, I spent time learning both the front-of-house and back-of-house operations of the gallery, completed installs/de-installs, and aided in the transportation of art from Baltimore to NYC and surrounding areas. Volunteered to work with the museum education department to assist in their mobile art programs for Title 1 schools.

I worked with the Chief Curator John Goldman and Lead Archivist Anna Kresmer on conducting original research for the Underground Railroad exhibition. I also aided in the archiving of their online catalog, the creation, and editing of their self-guided tours, and acted as a conduit between the curatorial and education departments for the planning and execution of our youth programs and opportunities.
