Lead and managed Verizon Labs Systems Architecture team. Architected and designed Verizon Internet Services Platform (VISP). VISP provides network optimization and congestion management services to enhance wireless Internet experience for 150 million Verizon Wireless subscribers. In addition, VISP provides split billing and mobile authentication services for Internet content providers and the community. Architected, designed and deployed a datacenter and the security monitoring systems to host VISP SDN control plane functions and VISP Internet services. The datacenter provides container-based application orchestration services enabling fully virtualized and efficient computing resource management.

Architected, designed, developed and performance tuned media streaming enhanced HTTP proxy/cache/content-filter for 3G/4G wireless networks, video/image transcoder and media adaptation proxy for Multimedia Messaging System (MMS).

Analyzed performance of CDMA2000 1xEV-DO network. Designed solutions and system level requirements to improve the access network performances. Participated projects as systems lead include RNC cluster load balancing, RNSM load balancing, eHRPD, Boomer Cell, Umbrella Cell and Capacity-Based Licensing Enhancements. Other works include RUM-based paging, PTT push-to-beep delay investigation, Forward link TCP throughput investigation, RLP buffer optimization, DO-SMS investigation, LTE/HRPD Inter-Radio Technology Overhead Message Protocol investigation, Quick Idle State Protocol analysis (published at GLOBCOMM 2010), and 1xEV-DO mobility training for operators.

Developed CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Radio Network Controller (RNC) software. Participated projects include RAN QoS Control, A13 Quality Initiatives, Multi-Carrier Traffic Allocation (MCTA), Inter-Frequency Hard Handoff Quality Initiatives, Direct DoS, A16, Fast DOM re-homing, DSC Multicasting, Call Control Transaction Robustness, and RNC shared data-structure analysis and multi-core shared data protection mechanism design.
