I am currently a senior video architect at Aupera Technologies, where I am responsible for designing and implementing video en/transcoding/processing algorithms for H.264/HEVC-based video encoders and transcoders for real-time and broadcast as well as VOD applications. As a Video/Image Algorithms Expert with +20 years of experience in industry multimedia standards including MPEG2, H264 and HEVC, JPEG and JPEG2000, my expertise lies in, but is not limited to: in-depth understanding of video compression standards and algorithm development, video/image quality assessment/optimization, stream analysis and video object tracking. Prior to joining Aupera Technologies, I had worked as a senior research engineer and supervisor at Service Provider Video Technology Group at Cisco Systems for 15 years. I had also worked at UB Video and Image Power, where I led company's standardization efforts and developed algorithms for many multimedia compression standards including H.264, JPEG and JPEG 2000 on x86 and embedded platforms.
