Hello! My name is Jaelyn Dohring and I am a student attending at Bourne High School. I am looking into the field of Occupational Therapy. I would like to consider myself a diligent, determined, and dedicated individual. I personally love helping people set goals and accomplish them, and in return I do set some goals for myself to hopefully accomplish in the near future. One of my major goals is to get excepted into a college and take a major that would pursue a future career, hopefully in Occupational Therapy. It may be a bigger goal then most would shoot for, although if you don't push yourself to your limit, you'll never know what your limit is! I am particularly interested in the Occupational Therapy field for many reasons. I had done some research and I truly believe this job was made for me. I love the feeling of being able to help people, so this job was a amazing opportunity for that. I also enjoy working with people who have disabilities. Growing up I have had many family members and friends who have had mental and physical disabilities and I have found pure joy just talking and helping them with whatever they may need. It makes me feel better as a person by the end of the day! Once I found out I could have a job where I could do what makes me happy everyday I knew this was the job for me !
