As a Program Analyst, the scope of roles and responsibilities expanded to include:▪ Co-lead strategy development and implementation to communicate Korea Office’s new strategic directions to external stakeholders with higher focus on private sector players through online / offline channels▪ Perform analysis on financial statements and business models, as well as due diligence to support investment decision-making for leveraged loan investments and business grants for women and North Korean entrepreneurs▪ Co-lead design and implementation of business support programs through co-developing Project Development Matrix (PDM), M&E frameworks, program activity management, and donor reporting.▪ Lead policy analysis projects based on information obtained through facilitating multi-stakeholder working groups, literature and legislation reviews, expert interviews, and raw data analysis

As a Program Assistant in part of ODA Young Professional Program, my key roles and responsibilities include:▪ Support Country Representative in Korea Office’s new strategic directions through analyzing global trends among development organizations and their engagement with the private sector▪ Provide research support for Program Staff to analyze development issues in Korea, deep-dive into root causes, and identify potential opportunities for policy and program interventions▪ Provide administrative support for Program Staff throughout the project development cycle: from design and implementation to project close-out and donor reporting▪ Lead designated research modules for policy reports, project feasibility analysis, and project proposals through literature review, survey data analysis, and interview transcript analysis* Received a rare full-time position offer as a Program Analyst

Impact Research Lab is a consulting firm founded in 2019 by Prof. Hyun Shin that specializes in measuring and evaluating social impact. Its clients include Hyundai Motors, Asan Nanum Foundation, KOTRA, and Seoul City Government.I am participating in a project to assess social, development, and business impact of KOICA’s 4 billion KRW investment portfolio of 8 social ventures focusing on healthcare. As a part-time Research Analyst, I am currently leading a post-investment analysis of 2 companies that provide accessible healthcare solutions in Indonesia and Cameroon. Some of my key roles include:1. Co-developing an evaluation matrix to assess key areas including development impact, technological feasibility and financial sustainability through benchmark analysis and literature review2. Take lead in the firm analysis based on the evaluation matrix in close cooperation with Ph. D level experts in healthcare and technology. I conducted in-depth review of submitted documents, additional research on the local market, applied technology, and relevant healthcare topics, as well as virtual interviews with the firm and local stakeholders.

Hanyang University’s Social Innovation Lab, led by Prof. Hyun Shin, provides research and business solutions for purpose-driven clients. As a Research Associate and a Team Lead, I led a team of 4 undergraduate students in 2 projects detailed below:1. Designed and implemented a digital marketing campaign for a purpose-driven company for its new product, resulting in 78.3% increase in sales and 211.5% increase in number of web users. I was in charge of making data-driven decisions using Google Analytics to prioritize digital channels such as Google Display Network, Facebook Ads and automated emails in dispersing the designed contents.2. Developed brand identity and raised awareness through digital and offline marketing campaigns for a disabled artist, resulting in online reach to 33,000+ users and attraction of 500+ visitors in a one day offline event. I was in charge of overseeing the development of 12 curated online contents and management of the offline event through space planning and producing merchandise goods.
