End User Specialist
Current* Provide user support in person, by phone and remote connection, including hardware and software installation and troubleshooting. Create positive customer experiences with Commission's computer users. Foster strong professional relationships during all employee and public interactions.* Install and maintain various systems in support of the organization's computer users, including endpoints (desktops, laptops, iPads/tablets, cell phones and other end-user primary computing devices), printers/print servers, and other connected peripherals.* Manage and maintain the Active Directory (AD) environment, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and user accounts and permissions across other systems including but not limited to Microsoft 365.* Author and effectively communicate necessary system outage notifications, technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and job/work aids as needed* Assist in management and maintenance of the OTIC disaster recovery strategy, including backup, replication and offsite storage.* Maintain and work toward constant improvement of the Commission's process for user adds, changes and deletes (VACD) across all departments and business units.* Support the Commission's overall security posture through advocacy of cybersecurity best practices, as well as supporting the organization's efforts in compliance with PCI-DSS and NIST CSF.* Create and maintain accurate and timely system documentation including entering work details into the Commission's IT Ticketing System.* Assist other departments with technology issues/projects.* Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Networking Team Supervisor, Technology Manager or Chief Information Officer
