Mr. Jaewon Chang has a broad practice covering the needs of corporate clients, focusing largely on the corporate and regulatory aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, compliance issues and on a wide range of dispute resolution matters. He is particularly adept at advising clients on market access issues in India and cross-border investment.Jaewon is actively involved in government matters, serving as Council Member of the Peaceful Unification Advisory Council (2021-); and Member of Legal Advisory Group for Overseas Expansion of Small and Medium Enterprises, Ministry of Justice, Republic of Korea (2016-). He has received Award Certificate and Plaque of Appreciation presented by Commissioner of National Tax Service, Republic of Korea in 2016 and 2021. Jaewon holds Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and LL.M. from American University Washington College of Law in the United States, and is qualified to practice law in the State of New York in the United States.
