I was appointed as the Master Planner of the national smart city pilot project promoted by the South Korean government in 2017 and established a master plan for the smart city national project of Busan Eco Delta City with a size of $1.5 billion. Busan Eco Delta City is a project carried out by the central government and Busan City from 2018 to 2024. In addition to making a master plan, I worked with the government to enact the Smart City Special Act and the Deregulation Act. The master plan was officially announced on July 24, 2018, and it was formalized as a model for a national pilot project after approval by the National Land Commission.
