As a Construction Manager - MEP Manage and supervise the daily activities of the technical team. Ensures the optimal usage of manpower and resources. Check the activities on-site and provide the necessary reminders to the Project Manager, Construction Manager for any immediate action. Coordinating with the design dept. for material/drawing submissions and obtain approvals as per the regulations of the relevant local authorities and service providers like: DUBAI Municipality, DEWA, DUBAI Civil Defense, DU, ETISALAT, TECOM and EMPOWER…etc. Supervision of all the mechanical installation on site (including: HVAC , Cold & hot water supply, sanitary & waste drainage and firefighting) Checking and reviewing all shop drawings, coordinated/composite services drawings and material appraisals in line with the project specifications, E&M design, architectural & structural drawings and incorporating the engineer comments for obtaining final approval Issuing FCR (Field Change Requests) to the engineer (consultant) for his approval as per site conditions installation, coordination with building section (civil works) Reviewing all design changes, monitoring and approving variation work orders for subcontractors. Planning and scheduling material deliveries and monitoring the overall work progress against the approved work program and look-ahead schedules and preparing weekly project report for the management meeting E&M and building section staff/subcontractors/the engineer/company management as required and scheduled to ensure adherence to the planned or programmed works with company quality and HSE policies. Ensure all builders works drawings are comprehensive and discussed with the various engineers for the best implementation and installation of services in coordination with other parties and main contractor. Follow up the status of material and shop drawings and keep all parties informed of the status and follow up the implementation,

 Coordinating between the consultant / main contractor and all the other sub- contractors for the following issues: Overall MEP work progress on site follow-up Liaisons with the different local authorities and services providers for shop drawings submission, site inspections, obtaining approvals and NOC certificates (design & construction) Arranging coordination meetings between all the concerned sub-contractors with consultant and main contractor including recording and distributing the minutes of meetings Site daily activities & progress reports, material delivery/procurement and shop drawing flow sheets, work inspection requests and clearance schedules in line with the project plan and civil works progress Reviewing all RFI’s (Request for Information) raised by sub-contractors and following up the technical reply given by consultant to ensure closing of the RFI Evaluation & verification of all variation claims raised by sub-contractors before submission to client for final approval.
