I have been working as an administrative/operations assistant the past 4 years for a defense contractor who manufactures electronic communication devices for military aircraft. I have experience with accounts payable/receivable, analyzing and entering government contracts, and coordinating with other departments to meet contract deadlines. I have exceptional administrative skills with proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications. I am quick to learn new computer software programs as well. I also have a background in GIS and earned an Advanced Graduate Geospatial Science Certificate at Stony Brook University. I have worked for years with ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap in an educational setting. My career goal is to find a position where I can utilize my skills and knowledge of geospatial science, and/or my administrative knowledge to help support an aerospace, energy or environmental company. I am a graduate of Farmingdale State College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology and Society. My courses focused on the earth sciences, geography, and environmental policy. I've worked as a student tutor in the Physics Department at Nassau Community College and I have also worked as a professional GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tutor at Farmingdale State College.
