The Rotary Club of Millbrae has a long history of providing community service through local projects, and also service through International projects. We work with other community groups to leverage our talent and treasure to make good things happen at home. We work with other Rotary Clubs to leverage grants to help make good things happen in the World. We meet on Tuesdays at 12:15 at Green Hills Golf Club if you are interested in finding out how ordinary people make extraordinary things happen.In addition I have served in regional roles at Rotary District 5150 as past Assistant Governor,past District Secretary, and presently District Community Service Chair.

MCF is a 501c3, staffed entirely by volunteers. It is the mission of MCF to raise funds and distribute those funds in grants to improve the quality of life in the Millbrae community. MCF funded crossing guards at Taylor Middle School, funded training of a police dog, funded paving of the tennis courts, funded improvements to our parks, funded the Senior Brown Bag grocery program through Second Harvest Food Bank, and funded many other programs that help enhance the opportunities for good living in our community. In partnership with the Millbrae Rotary Club MCF assisted the Millbrae Community Youth Center rehabilitation project, helping them to complete the funding needed.MCF has set up a fund to help furnish the rebuilt Millbrae Community Center which was burned down by two teens. MCF has assisted the Rec Center Fundraising Committee with this fund which has raised $200,000 thus far. Was a founding member of the Board of Directors of SAMTRANS, and was Chairman of the Board in 1980, the year that we created CALTRAIN passenger services on the SF Peninsula. Helped to create the first public transit agency offering both fixed route accessible and demand responsive accessible services for the disabled and elderly in the State.
