The incumbent must prioritize safety by following rules, reporting problems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Maintaining plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards is emphasized. The role also involves managing and directing personnel as needed and keeping setup information organized and up-to-date, including process set up sheets, process validation, and compliance logs.

Skilled human resources, consistent quality, broad knowledge, strategic partner alliances, Domain & subject matter expertise and strong customer relationships have been continuously propelling Cyient’s growth into higher orbits.As a design Engineer, My responsibilities were• Integrating required engineering & process changes into the Assembly Floor Sheets (AFS) by coordinating with the Engineering & CM (Configuration Management) Department.• Scrutinising the discrepancies raised during the assembly process from the shop floor, identifying the root cause for the problem and executing the appropriate action by amending the process accordingly.• Implementing the part changes in the AFS, BOM, Graphic & SAP in the applicable engine models.• Upgrading the tool list in the database across various plants of PW.• standardizing the assembly procedure regarding the operations, instructions, part flow, tool list, SIN updating, graphic) among various engine models like PT6, PW800, PW500, PW300, PW200, PW100 & PW1000’s• Designating the SIN (Significant Item Number) for each assembly location & the respective part.• Supporting the SCEMs (Spec Check for Exceptional Memorandum) & RFN (Red Flag Notice) tasks delivery within 24 hours.• Revising & updating the flow charts with Part, DC flow and assuring the implementation of 3P in Visio.• Developing formulas for user inputs validation given across AFSs according to the TOL charts & updating the tolerances, limits, torquing values & RPM values in instructions.• Submitting the projects within the budget & scheduling restraints by conducting engineering design evaluations & works..• Creating Power BI dashboards as per client requests.TOOL USED: ECATES (Solumina), ENOVIA PM, PLM, CATIA V5, SAP, Webtop, Power BI, MS office.
