So, there is a need for uniform device manager platform to support standard functional capabilities and middleware for managing diverse device protocols in a uniform fashion. DeviceStudio is a windows based application which is used to generate DTM’s for devices. In the application user inputs some data according to the device specification to create a parameter. My area of concentration was the Web testing of the VAG where in I had to do the registrations of the Phone numbers (CTNs) in the front end with the help of the backend. Perform many other actions like registering the VAG users, changing the names, PIN codes (postcodes), adding the users, updating the details of the users etc.The roles of the users were of three kinds namely Owner, Administrator and User.
