• New product development Quality & Supplier Process Development for Castings, Forgings, Machining commodity.• Handling more than 25 Supplier’s across India for Localization projects• PPAP planning, Monitor PPAP and approvals for new projects and existing projects with regular review• Supplier Improvement process and upgrading suppliers from L3 to L1.• New product development Inspection & approval for Global sourcing & local sourcing projects.• Project Handling with Global Team including Supplier Audits(Process & Product Audit)• Participate in NPD activities for the choosing suppliers with purchase team during supplier selection stage and responsible to make sure that potential supplier RFQ is in line with required quality level• Periodical review of MSA, SPC and FMEA for all A’ class parts with supplier’s as a preventive action to avoid potential causes• Customer complaints handling related to supplier activities with effectiveness monitoring by visiting suppliers* New projects quality plan execution & plan review for regular production based on criticality of parts & supplier performance and also performing Supplier audit plan.• Rejection Analysis with CFT team following PDCA cycle for effective actions & monitoring. Taking lead to solve problems using Quality tools like 8D & QC Tools• Leading receiving inspection team with an effective handling of manpower and training the team members. Releasing Quality plan for the same, product approval for all Incoming components for new launch products and for regular production run.• Kaizen & Poke Yoke implementation at supplier place related to process & system.• Focusing on Delivery Metrics, Customer complaints, Quality Consistency of supplier, Lean management, Communicating Supplier PPM, supplier rating to Suppliers.• Conducting Supplier Review meeting on Monthly basis & focusing on improvements of product Quality & Quality Systems.• Developing Process Control & Process Effectiveness at supplier end.

* Employed in Quality Planning Team as a Supplier Validation Engineer.* Supplier PPAP documents verification & forwarding for approvals* Rejection analysis with the supplied parts from various plant of Caterpillar division.* FMEA analysis to sort out the more critical failure modes and suggesting suppliers to initiate corrective action for the same.* Supplier process improvements by instructing the process standardization methods, process alteration methods for Lean management and Kaizen implementation.
