Technical interface between customer (Chevron/KJV) and GE, starting from the predefinition phase of future site activities through the construction, erection and start up phases till COD.The responsibilities are not limited to the following tasks:- Managing close connection with customer & site manager on day-to-day operational aspects of site and engineering needs.- Brainstorming risk assessments, procedures, specifications and drawings required for specific activities in advance of when the activities are scheduled, monitor the execution of activities to ensure compliance of such risk assessments, procedures, specifications and drawings.- Responsible for customer's Non-confirmation and Information request.- Provide expertise to site project planner, project manager and site manager in the development of the site project schedule, highlighting and analyzing issues which may potentially jeopardize the project’s performance and or ability to meet agreed upon deliverable. - Participate project Kick-Off Meeting and highlight the risk of site activities;- Assist PM in the organization of the Customer Pre-Installation meeting, assuring that the most convenient and competitive solutions for the requested service are selected, according to project requirements and following the strategy that is set for the project.- Attend client meetings dedicated to site issues.

Field Project Engineer for GE Turbo Machinary Products (Recip Comp, Steam Turbine, Gas Turbine, Centrifugal Comp, Turbo Expander) Primary Challanges includes but not limited to - Single point of contact for Customers, Field Service Engineer and Internal Teams.- Mitigating risk through FMEA after detailed design review.- Handling the site technical and general issues.- Traveling to site locations when direct assistance required by customer or field teams.- Interacting with various design teams irrespective of domain to understand the design, issues and sollutions.

Key Responsibilities:Involved in Complete Detailed engineering of Reciprocating Compressor Instrumentation for process gas application (H2S, Ethylene, Sour gas, etc)

Evaluating customer requirement for PLC and SCADA systems.- Prepare the control scheme, Panel Layout, hardware requirements and get the customer acceptance.- Testing of control systems at vendors place. This involves checking of the total hardware (as per the bill of material), checking of total software implementation as per process requirements, functional diagrams, loop diagrams, PID controllers, etc. This also involves simulation of total plant interlocks.- Implementing total control systems. This involves startup of on site, carrying out S.A.T (site acceptance test) in co-ordination with the control system engineer as well as the commissioning engineer.- Checking and assisting junior engineers and assistant engineers in detailed engineering documents like panellayout, hard ware configuration and selection, bill of material.- Technically supporting the sourcing team.- Responsible for Technical and commercial activities.
