Kam.io was a MarTech startup pioneering Mobile Real-Time Selfie Filters and Stickers before Snapchat Filters and Instagram Face Filters. - Co-founded the company and Designed the initial white-label concept and strategy- Developed the key Proprietary, Multi-Platform, Real-Time Image Processing Technology using OpenGL for image processing and OpenCV for accurate Face Detection. - Developed, built, and led the development team for the White-Label App, the Social Media Mobile App, and other White-Label products. - Our White-label powered app, The Walking Dead-Dead Yourself, achieved 15M+ downloads worldwide and was Emmy-nominated- Our other white-label-powered apps had hundreds of thousands of downloads and were feature by high profile media such as Rolling Stone and TechCrunch. - Our social media app had 2M+ users and 600K MAU at its peak.Customers: The Walking Dead, Netflix, NBC Universal, TNT, Discovery Networks, AMC, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Nickelodeon.

I founded this EdTech Platform focused on Student / Teacher communication integrated to Google Apps for Education. At its peak we had 30k+ active students and teachers around the globe. In another life, before choosing the entrepreneurial path, I was the Head of the Computer Science program and taught advanced computer science classes such as Algorithm Design & Analysis, Programming Language Engineering, Functional Programming and Theory of Computation. I continued teaching occasionally for the love of the art for a couple of years.
