Mechanical/Project Engineer-In-Training
As a Mechanical/Project Engineer-in-Training, my responsibilities related to the mechanical discipline included checking mechanical equipment datasheets against P&IDs, LDTs, mechanical equipment list, and vendor drawings to ensure matching of specifications and updating datasheets based on design changes. As part of the project management discipline, I communicated with technical discipline leads to verify that project progress is on schedule to meet milestones and identify hindrances to progress, then relayed this information to project controls.During downtime, I gained technical knowledge of pipelines, valves, pipe fittings, pipe flanges, welding, TEMA type heat exchangers, hot tapping, cathodic protection, pressure vessels, isolation plugs, and API 650 Oil storage tanks.
