Assisting staff in remote locations with technical support of desktop computers, applications and related technology.Administer all local servers and implement a standard desktop policy to ensure a stable environment. Provision assignment of user privileges and restrict access pertaining to their roles.Perform installation, configuration, trouble shooting of printers, plotter, projectors, fax machines etc. Coordinate with vendors and perform regular maintenance accordance with AMC.Analyze server(s) and network activity and maintain software program for detecting intrusions. Deploy anti-virus policies and monitor logs to protect against virus attacks. Perform regular health checkups of network and servers and support risk mitigation activities in response to newly identified security threats rapidly identify and fix network devices.Perform backup of data including automatic back up routine, testing data integrity and offsite storage media. Support and maintain network infrastructure ensuring the service runs with minimal downtime. Share on call responsibilities for 24*7 operations and maintain uptime metrics.Support existing servers, systems and networks. Track software licenses and purchasing and maintenance agreements.Troubleshoot issues and support technical and non-technical users.
