• Decommissioning of Mainframe Legacy applications. Production support for currently active Mainframe applications for the Quality Systems Support Group.• Developed a proven/reusable process to decommission the legacy applications. Used existing Wyeth enterprise tools to upload data from Legacy systems to Oracle DB via Informatica. Reports available via Crystal Reports. Met Verification requirements for validated and non validated systems.• Played key role in decommissioning and retiring of the Mainframe from Wyeth’s Great Valley facility . The project team was recognized as Team of the Quarter Winner. As a result of this project, Wyeth realized an annual cost savings of $1.5 million in hardware and software maintenance.• Analysis of legacy applications, identify business and system owners/SME’s responsible for approval and sign off for each applications plans and reports. Work with the project managers, Application Owner/SME and business clients to understand application requirements. Create required Decommissioning documents and follow up for signoff. Arrange for disposition of identified application documentation to offsite storage. • Data conversion for each application, migrate SUPRA database data to Oracle Database.• Analysis of application historical data that is either on the Mainframe or stored offsite. Set up meetings with Application Owner/SME to determine scope for data retention. Create Decommissioning plans and Summary Reports for migration of data.• Generate Crystal reports using the Oracle database to validate migrated data. in various instances – Development, QA & Production. Participate in meetings to determine root cause for any errors in migrated data, arrange meetings to seek resolution, create deviation reports. • Familiar with Wyeth GMP policies and requirements, completed required training and courses.• Participate in Global Compliance Auditing for System Decommissioning Assessment and implemented the recommendations.
