I was called to the Malaysian Bar on February 1995 and I have been actively practising in the following areas of law:-1. General Litigation Attending to various claims at the Subordinate Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and Federal Court. The scope of work covers from drafting and preparing cause papers including the Writ of Summons, Statement of Claim, Statement of Defence, Affidavits, interlocutory applications, researching on points of law and rendering legal opinion as and when is required and attending Court for hearing of interlocutory applications and full trial both in Subordinate Court and High Court and appeals at the Court of Appeal and Federal Court. 3. Family & Estate MattersDrafting, preparing and attending to applications for Grant of Probates, Letters of Administration, Petition for Adoption, Divorce Petition and Small Estate Distribution at the Land Office.4. Commercial & Corporate LitigationHandling various aspect of corporate litigation, corporate disputes for corporate clients and injunction proceedings namely Permodalan Nasional Berhad and its subsidiaries, Johor Corporation, Kumpulan Perubatan Johor Sdn Bhd, KFC Holding, Sime Darby Berhad, Boustead Holding Berhad, YBK Usahasama Sdn Bhd, Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad and its subsidiaries, PKNS, MAS Berhad, PTPK, Sunway Groups, Symphony Life Berhad and its subsidiaries and various other public listed companies. 5. Industrial Relations DisputeAdvising corporate clients on industrial relation matters and attending to disputes at the Industrial Court for claims for wrongful and constructive dismissal and the judicial reviews following the decision of the Industrial Court. 6. Adjudication (CIPAA) and ArbitrationAdvising corporate clients and attending to the drafting of all Claims, Defence, Witness Statements, conducting hearings and Written Submissions.
