At Edubaloo, I am involved in various aspects of the organisation, both technical and non-technical, contributing to our mission of providing affordable, high-quality education to African students.My primary technical role is serving as the tech lead for building our mobile app and in-house tools, utilising my systems design and software engineering skills. My non-technical tasks include project management, reviewing UI/UX designs for our app, and defining the marketing strategy to reach our target audience. While I had prior experience leading a technical team, taking on the responsibility of overseeing the entire product development process and go-to-market strategy was a completely different challenge. It has proven to be a valuable learning experience. One of the notable skills I have developed is project management, which has improved my ability to delegate tasks effectively and foster autonomy within teams. This enables us to concentrate on the most critical aspects of our operation.I'm excited about the future challenges that lie ahead. Our mission to provide high-quality and affordable education to students across Africa is a driving force for me. Leveraging technology, we believe we can impact the lives of African students and make the lives of their parents a tad easier.

During my time at Composable, I was responsible for adding substrate support to the Cosmos Go Relayer. I wrote and maintained libraries ranging from proof verification to blockchain API libraries. This was done to achieve interoperability between substrate and cosmos chains, marking the first time it had ever been attempted.My biggest challenge was having to learn Rust quickly. Since substrate chains are developed in Rust, it was essential for me to have a good understanding of the language in order to effectively communicate with the substrate team and successfully integrate substrate support into the Go Relayer.Being at the forefront of an emerging technology improved my ability to quickly learn new skills and handle pressure in demanding situations.

Full stack web developer. I worked majorly on Frontend applications turning mockups into html template and building single page applications using Vuejs.

I started my career in tech at Metalloids, where I began as a content creator and social media strategist. I later moved on to work as a website designer using WordPress and finally, a fullstack developer building backend systems with PHP and frontend apps using Angular. I worked on various projects, including Payloader an artime recharge web app, Designing contracted Websites, and managing the company’s social media presence. As a full-stack web developer, I played a significant role in developing and maintaining our web applications and digital presence.As a social media strategist, I created and implemented strategies to establish our online presence. By doing this, we achieved substantial growth in our followers and overall engagement across all platforms.After my successful contributions on the digital marketing front, I took on a new challenge as a full-stack developer, designing database schemas, implementing APIs using the Yii PHP framework and building the frontend using Angular. Working at Mettalloids was a transformative experience for me. It had a significant impact on developing not only my technical skills but also my soft skills, such as communication and teamwork. I take pride in the relationships I formed and the impact I made on the projects I contributed to.
