Jonathan is currently the President of Stratagem Studios Inc. a Stratagem Group company. Stratagem Studios Inc is committed to studio development in key markets focused on purpose built and repurposed Tier 1 studio facilities servicing film, television and digital media projects around the globe.Jonathan was previously the President of NABET 700-M UNIFOR since 2004, which represents Ontario film, television, and digital media technicians that have serviced Ontario and the world for over 50 years.NABET 700-M UNIFOR was formed in 1970 to represent video technicians, but later expanded to provide film, television and digital media technicians to Toronto's growing production industry. As President, Jonathan was responsible for the overall operations of the union including the negotiation, application and interpretation of numerous collective bargaining agreements and the employment interests of all technicians in the local’s jurisdiction, which represents in excess of $500 million in production volume and $70 million in wages annually.Prior to his service as President, Jonathan was a freelance Pyrotechnician in the Special Effects department within NABET 700-M UNIFOR. Jonathan has served as the Media Chair of the UNIFOR Media Council, on the film industry’s Section 21 Health and Safety Committee as Co-Chair and was the Co-Chair of the 2016 -2019 term of Toronto Film, Television and Digital Media Board advising the Mayor and City Council on Toronto’s $2.3 billion dollar screen-based industry.
