As an Account Manager for The Impact Engine, my responsibilities included strategizing and handling the social media pages for 3 accounts, Balewadi High Street, 2WheelR and Squeezo. My role entailed speaking and coordinating with clients and managing a team of creative individuals and providing feedback where necessary. In addition to this, I successfully ran multiple ad campaigns on Facebook Ads Manager and then analysed the analytics to create reports. I also created proposals, monthly insight reports, and content calendars on a regular basis. As a Graphic Designer, my job entailed creating proposals for clients, editing reels to post on social media and designing content for the page. Both these roles helped me develop my skills in communication as all the work conversations took place over Zoom calls. The experience allowed me to grow in my role and gave me an opportunity to learn while working.

My role as a social media intern, included ideating posts for various clients ranging from fashion exhibitions to play areas and hospitality. I also learnt and gained the confidence to do client communication, wherein I spoke to the client and coordinated my team to have the work done. I oversaw handling the social networks for all my clients. I worked, researched, and wrote copy and captions for the content that went out on the page. In addition to this, I covered an exhibition on camera for their social media engagement and did photography of one of the venues of our clients. On request, I was also part of an event management team for one of the biggest exhibitions in Mumbai where I stimulated people to provide their details before entering the venue. This internship included a lot of learning and allowed me to grow through trial and error, leaving space for me to make mistakes and learn from them. It was a great first experience and opened doors to a lot more opportunities.
