Maybe a strong cup of coffee to go with it; heavy on the hazelnut creamer. My passion for training and development can be traced back to when I first discovered books by Dan Ariely, Daniel Kahneman and Joseph Pine while earning my Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Louisiana Tech University. Today, I get paid to do something that feels more like a hobby than a career; as it turns out, I am pretty good at what I do. As a Leadership and Development Manager I get to do some really cool stuff. I am an artist who creates creative learning environments using interactive storytelling and gamification applications. Using a variety of different training modalities, I help professionals understand concepts and processes that impact their work environment. I refine employee job performance, reduce the potential for performance errors and strengthen employee engagement. My professional value boils down to the following, I’m a seasoned professional who has worn many hats throughout my career. I am a pragmatic thinker who has extensive experience training and leading professionals from a broad spectrum of job positions using an empirical approach to change management.
