My profile's old URL was - linkedin.com/in/jai-ansh-singh-bindra-26suc2005cess1]I am a second year undergraduate student in Computer Science and Mathematics at Ecole Polytechnique and have strong interests in the fields of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning, Software development, Quant, Finance,Robotics, and Mathematics.I am currently seeking an internship in one of the following - quant (research or trading), finance or tech-related (Software, Artificial Intelligence or Engineering) fields. I aspire to explore applications of Computer Science (and more specifically Artificial Intelligence) in other domains especially quant and finance while also focusing on developing research and practical skills in Software dev, ML/DL, and other CS sub-domains.Other than Computer Sciences, I have had practical experience in Avionics, Aerospace Engineering (former area of interest), Particle Accelerator Physics, and IoT circuits (electronics, and sensor programming).Entrepreneurship has really appealed to me for a long time and I have been involved with some initiatives in the past and developing an entrepreneurial spirit remains one of my top life goals. Leading and planning projects, complex problem solving, working with diverse groups of people, working on intersections, taking up responsibility while handling real-time high impact/sensitive tasks and utilising unorthodox yet efficient methods to achieve targets and goals are somethings which I absolutely love and in which I have developed myself over the years.Cybersecurity is one of the things I look forward to explore.I completed my schooling from Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj in 2023, and apart from being a technology and entrepreneurship-driven person, I enjoy solving puzzles and have been referred to as a cubing maniac in the past for my ability to solve 25 types of cubing puzzles!In June 2022, I developed a social impact technical project at IIT Delhi which got featured in the Times of India. I am also a former Member of the Junior Academy at the New York Academy of Sciences.

    I was selected for the Change.Makers bootcamp at Iit Delhi wherein selected high school students were given the access to the premium institutes state of the art infrastructure and were given expert training and guidance by some of the best mentors of the country.It was a Maker-cum-Engineering bootcamp held at Makerspace of IIT Delhi and was fabulously coordinated by respected Professor Jay Dhariwal.My team's project pitches focused on two main concepts: an AI-powered rolling robot for natural calamity surveillance, communication, and optimal path mapping.My team made the final decision of working on the first prototype of the Roll Infinity - The Rolling Robot project after proposing both of our concepts and carefully evaluating the constructive feedback provided by the mentors at IIT Delhi. The relevance of our project is mainly in the regions of irregular variations like floods, water-related natural disasters, industrial fires, etc.Due to its rough spherical surface and ability to float on water (due to the air it incorporates in its core), our bot can operate in environments where drones and helicopters cannot be deployed. It has a surveillance system , a communication system and is equipped with an Ai algorithm which enables it's automation and using the data from cam module ( used in surveillance system ) it can also calculate the best path with least obstacles which can be mapped directly to metrological department so that the maximum number of lives can be saved in the minimum amount of time.After making the first prototype , it was displayed in the exhibition which was covered by some of the prestigious national dailies like The Times of India , where our project was featured.The organizing committee was also kind enough to organize lab tours whichreally gave me some key insights into the real life problems being solved andthe high end research being conducted at this coveted institution!
