I am currently working as a Process Project Engineer. I have an undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA with a concentration in International Business. I am pursing my next steps towards achieving my Professional Engineering license. In my position, I work with clients directly to define their needs for greenfield and brownfield food and beverage manufacturing projects. Upon determining the equipment specifications and performance requirements to meet output needs, I work with a team of discipline engineers and designers to define process improvements incorporating the latest OSHA and Food Safety standards and regulations. I lead the process equipment selection process all the way to in-field equipment installation and testing. Communication in this position with other divisions (Building Design and Construction) is paramount to get the correct supporting utility and building infrastructure to support manufacturing equipment. Working with a team of site personnel and a team of rotating field engineers I help coordinate efforts among multiple subcontractors and vendors to meet turnkey facility success in a timely fashion. Other Specialties Include: AutoCAD 2D, Microsoft applications, Process Flow, Block Flow and P&ID development, equipment specification, vendor and subcontractor selection buy out and management, and engineering / design team leadership.
