This lab on the campus of the University of Melbourne has the unique capability of studying chronically instrumented large animal models of cardiovascular disease undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass.Published over 325 peer reviewed publications (h-index of 52), edited 2 books, published 2 theses (Masters & Doctoral) and over 30 patents. Experience with numerous leadership positions, including -Director - Adult Cardiac Surgery at University of Chicago & Rush University Medical Center, Director of Cardiac transplant & mechanical support at Rush University, Co-Chair of Quality at Oregon Health & Science University.Clinical lead & director at Townsville University Hospital assisting in their efforts at re-accreditation.
