Investigating PFAS in surface waters around Melbourne and modelling flow rates. Analysis of PFAS in water using solid phase extraction. Instrument analysis undertaken with Triple Quadrupole (QQQ) Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LCMS). Sample quantitation perfomed with MassHunter Acquisition. Provided support on Microplastics paper investigating similar scope.

I worked within the Treatment and Remediation team which specialized in PFAS site and waste assessments, managing internal PFAS bench trials to support management of PFAS impacted soils, and project management and field works for classification for spoil for various civil, landfill and rail clients across Victoria—additional duties involved training graduates in field, equipment, and reporting aspects.
