I'm a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Virginia studying Global Public Health with a minor in African American & Studies. Outside of academia I'm passionate about health/wellness and gender equality within the STEM field. These passions have allowed me to use my skills as a researcher within Health and Disability IT to research ways to help persons who are undermined in healthcare and in Infectious Disease. Aside for advocating for underrepresented individuals, I plan to pursue a Master's Degree in Public Health and a degree in Medicine. My motivation stems from her awareness of healthcare disparities and my passion for providing equal care to all.
