I have a lot of experience with many different age ranges and types of people. Especially in the restaurant industry, you see all sorts of behaviors and situations that cause you to have to think quick and develop good problem solving skills. I've been able to apply these skills all over, not just at work, and they continue to improve with every shift I have. Working with children has also been very beneficial to my workplace and social skills. It takes a lot of patience to work with kids, especially at a young age, and communicating with them can be difficult and irritating when not fully prepared or knowing what to expect. I think having this experience with children and adults is important and I continue to look for new opportunities to learn and improve so as to best serve the people I work around and for.

At The Springs I would spend most of my time serving in one of three dining rooms, but I would also help run deliveries and assist residents in any way I could.
