I have worked with people from diverse backgrounds, at different stages of their lives and careers, and with varied challenges facing them. Youth in remote villages in South Africa, entrepreneurs creating start-ups, professionals moving to management roles, CEO’s, and musicians at the peak of their career, all share one thing in common - the desire to accomplish their goals and live a life as close to their dream as possible. I have learned that when in the midst of a challenging project, relationship, or situation it can be difficult to gain a perspective outside of the day-to-day details and minutia. By providing the individuals with a unique outside perspective I can help them navigate through these situations by utilizing the strengths and tools already at their disposal.Completing my Masters of Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania provided me with a perspective that is grounded in hope, optimism, strengths, and most importantly science-based evidence. I know that change isn’t easy, but by utilizing all the tools at my disposal I believe that I can help to make it achievable, and most importantly, worth the effort.In order to deepen my understanding of the human experience, I completed my MSc in the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health at King's College London. I am increasingly interested in the how and why of behaviour change and how this applies in our varied life domains. I am at my best when I am working with others to realize their dreams.
