Managing projects related with GS1 standards

I developed, maintained and documented ETL scripts to load census and surveys data produced with mobile device apps into relational database systems using tools like Powershell, SQL Stored Procedures and SSIS tools.

As part of the lT Support team for marketing systems for British American Tobacco I was responsible to monitor, assign, resolve and escalate tickets for with 30+ apps, in 10 countries, 2 languages, 2 shifts and several 3rd level support teams around the world (WIPRO, HCL, Fujitsu) Using ITSM processes and different ticketing systems.

My responsibilities included supporting IT processes and applications for BAT companies in Central America, the Caribbean, Paraguay and Uruguay. I gathered statistics from the ticketing systems and created dashboards and reports for the IT Management, followed up customer perception, incident escalations, change implementations and problem solutions. Requested meetings, created and followed up minutes and agreements. I also provided support for the Legacy Sage L500 ERP system, SAP R/3 and Exactus ERP.

My role involved develop, maintain and support Business Apps in areas such as Finance, Manufacturing, Marketing, and HR. I used ITIL best practices to coordinate Change and Problem management processes. I also developed small projects using PRINCE2 methodology. I provided support for organizations in more than 10 countries in Central America, the Caribbean and South America

I developed award winning reports for the finance, manufacturing and HR departments,most of them with data extracted from their own ERP system. I created interfaces between several incompatible systems and legacy apps. Created full stand alone systems like a Fleet management and Sales forecasting system just to name a few. For several years I was part of different teams which mission was to transform the IT landscape of 13 affiliated entities by shutting down local solutions and integrating them into more robust and regional systems, consolidating data centers and support teams, improving service quality and saving millions of dollars during the process. One of the biggest project I was involved was the migration from the L500 ERP system to SAP/R3 in which I was part of the Master Data team.

Worked as a Programmer at Consejo Supremo Electoral. My responsibilities included develop UNIX Scripts, INFORMIX SQL scripts, INFORMIX 4GL programs, and Visual Basic programs. Mostly related with data entry, and data processing.

Worked as a Systems Operator at Consejo Supremo Electoral. My responsibilities included being responsible for INFORMIX database and system backups on Unix Systems (AIX RS-6000 and HP-UX), high-volume printing operation, and runing UNIX scripts.

Worked as a Data Entry Clerk at Consejo Supremo Electoral. My responsibilities included typing data from Civil Records (Births, Marriage, etc) and ID requests.
