A little bit about me: I was raised in Fort Collins, CO since I was 4 years old and frequently return to visit my parents who have yet to move. I have a 1-year-old husky who keeps active away from work. I graduated from Fossil Ridge High School in 2016 and went on to study Health and Exercise Science at the University of Northern Colorado in Greely, CO. While earning my degree, I worked as a server/bartender at a restaurant and a receptionist at a local gym. Working two jobs was difficult while being a full time student, but I was able to manage a 3.5 GPA. These challenges educated me on time management and the authenticity of hard work. My final college credits were earned during an internship at Peak Physical Therapy in Denver, CO as an exercise physiologist. The internship allowed me to utilize my degree in a clinical setting and interact with patients and physical therapists on a daily basis. After completing my internship, I began working as a medical assistant at Panorama Orthopedics and Spine Center in November of 2020 rooming for 40+ orthopedic providers. In February of 2021, I was promoted to working directly with Dr. Doug Foulk who specializes in sports medicine surgery. The amount of knowledge that I have gained from this position is immeasurable. I have learned the in's and out's of orthopedic sports medicine and the tedious desk work associated in the medical field. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the medical field, but I am open to opportunities that will exceed my career and continue to benefit my professional growth.
