I began my nursing career in the birth center at Valley Medical Center as a labor and delivery nurse. I developed a huge passion for pregnant women and their growing families, especially those who were experiencing the loss of a pregnancy or newborn. I helped develop the perinatal loss committee to help our team better serve our families suffering a loss. After about three and a half years I transferred to a day shift position in a VMC clinic where I've been working as a RN Care Manager. As much as I love the new schedule, which was the biggest reason for the transfer, I really miss working with women & children so I'm looking to reestablish myself in a position working with new or growing families.
