Maintain and repair wind turbines for three separate wind farms containing 168 - MWT-92 2.4mw, 124 -GE 2.X and 101 - Gamesa G97’s▪ Work with Ingeteam PLC’s, digital & analog modules, relays, converter system, hydraulic pitch systems,asynchronous generators, and SCADA control system to include basic troubleshooting and inspections with use of specialized equipment (Voltmeter, Megger) for motors on cooling fan or pumps.▪ LOTO – Authorized employee to administer and verify LOTO for various wind turbine systems andsubstation works. Also, the onsite LOTO Trainer for new employees under the QEW (qualifiedelectrical worker) program to assure technicians demonstrate understanding of the LOTO programand are competent of systems for proper energy isolation.▪ Crane signaling for major up tower replacement works including step up/down dry type transformers(34.5kv/690vac), wind turbine blades and doubly fed/asynchronous generator replacements.▪ High and medium voltage switching qualified for the operation of wind turbine equipment and majorsubstation components involving flash over incidents, cleaning of insulators and grounding of variousequipment. Inspect/repair/operation of SEL relays, Siemens GIS breakers, S&C & Schneider breakers,Southern States capacitor bank switches, GE capacitors, Replacement of PT’s for substation controls. Rack in/out 34.5 kv modular sheltered-aisle breakers utilizing a 40-cal suite. Work with voltages ranging from AC: 345kv, 34.5kv, 690vac,480,240,120 and DC: 1100, 48, 15,24,15,12,5▪ Write and execute switching orders for substation works in coordination with our national control center and ERCOT to assure a safe and logical shutdown and re-energization of equipment. Submit OMS (operations management system) tickets with date, time, reason of works for proper scheduling and approval of scheduled outages▪ Borescope gearbox, main bearing, and generator components such as planetary, intermediate, highspeed bearings and helical gears.

▪ Equipment maintenance by conducting routine rounds/inspections, troubleshooting process upsets, writing notifications (SAP), preparing equipment for maintenance, and implementing permitting process.▪ Maintain optimum control, efficiency and safety of the unit and equipment by monitoring and evaluating process variables and sample results.▪ Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and company standards to ensure safety,health, and environmental excellence.▪ Analyzing samples of process liquids including trioxane, formaldehyde, and benzine (Full face respiratorutilized as required). Operated specific lab equipment in accordance with SOPs to measure samples andplace in analyzer to verify equipment on DCS is accurate.▪ Assist and train with senior operator on DCS between rounds in managing levels, flows, pressures, andconcentrations of distillation columns as well as various types of vessels.▪ Provide checklists and documentation for energy isolation, safe work checklist, hot work, confined space, and vacuum truck activities as required per tasks.▪ Understanding of steam pressures varying from 9 lb. – 600 lb. for the use of turbines, thermosiphonreboilers and clearing organics for shutdown and/or maintenance of lines.▪ Theory of heat transfer regarding heat exchangers, latent heat, tempered water jacket lines and steamtracing.

▪ Supervise and direct all wind turbine maintenance, repair, and retrofit activities of two separate wind energy facilities totaling up to 202 units; Gulf Wind (Sarita, TX) - 118 units and Los Vientos (Lyford, TX) - 84 units of the Mitsubishi 2.4mw wind turbine, with a combined total output of 485 megawatts.▪ Oversee a team of technicians (17-32), subcontractors, and field engineering support personnel. At times the total count of personnel onsite was above 80.▪ Monitor and audit maintenance and repair activities to ensure safety procedures are followed and to ensure a high-quality work product. Review and editing of end of day work orders to explain the work conducted and consumption of parts was detailed and accurate.▪ Coordinate and conduct technical training to assure technicians are safe and competent of systems being worked on. Would randomly utilize an hour in the morning to read over procedures or manuals of a specific system to promote awareness and knowledge.▪ Involved with incident investigations and root cause analysis as well as implementing corrective actions in promoting a safer work environment. All employees with questions, concerns or complaints were treated fairly to promote a real open-door policy that included honesty and ensuring any changes made to policy or procedures were fair and accurate to all involved.

7/2008 - 3/2011: Began as a technician where I maintained and troubleshot 118 wind turbine generators to maintain availability using electro-mechanical skills and problem solving. Assisted with warehouse organization and housekeeping with use of forklift to maintain proper storage of spare parts to assure accurate quantity and timely procurement. As lead technician, I would assist the site supervisor with maintenance and repair scheduling on a daily basis. Provide support and technical knowledge for the technicians to assure work was completed in a safe and efficient manner. Prepare and organize crane activities of lifts consisting of 7.5 tons and above. Supervised and directed all turbine maintenance, repair and retrofit activities on a 118 unit, 283 megawatt-rated wind energy facility. 3/2011 - 6/2014: Supervise and direct all turbine maintenance, repair and retrofit activities on an 84 unit, 202 megawatt-rated wind energy facility. Oversee a team of technicians, subcontractors and field engineering support personnel that averages 26 personnel working 4800 hours monthly. Monitor and audit maintenance and repair activities to ensure safety procedures were followed and to ensure a high quality work product. Coordinate and conduct safety and technical training and acted as the site safety officer for turbine operations.Construction: Monitored construction activities on an 84 unit, 202 megawatt-rated wind energy facility. Worked closely with the owner and BOP contractor in providing technical advice to maintain high production and quality assembly. Managed the pre-commissioning, final commissioning activities and procured the tools and equipment necessary for timely completion as scheduled. Of note, commissioning was successfully completed by end of year 2012 to comply with the customers’ project guidelines to receive the federal tax credit.

Participate in the transfering of land rigs following well completion utilizing specialized winch trucks that are tied onto loads accordingly and moved in a position to be loaded on haul trucks for transfer. Various types of equipment such as chains, wire rope slings, wire rope cable and schackles are strategically used to safely and successfully handle such activity. All PPE was used to ensure safety from heavy parts and components as well as being 100% tied off with harnes and double lanyard when above structures without adquate railings.
