About Jaime Haycox

Prior to working in Management within Amigo, I worked as a Senior Complaints Handler and a FOS Team Agent. I then progressed to manage a team of FOS agents before moving on to manage the Complaints Team, which was later combined into a team of agents who manage both complaints and also claims within Amigo’s Scheme of Arrangement.Given my varied roles within the department, I have the knowledge and skills involved with handling complaints from both an agent’s perspective and from a management level. My progression within the Customer Relations Team at Amigo has helped to develop valuable skills, such as teamwork, communication, problem solving and organisation. I have also had various opportunities, based on my knowledge of complaints within the business, such as meeting with the FCA to discuss Amigo’s complaints process. I have also liaised and worked directly with FOS to ensure alignment regarding our processes.Whilst managing the complaints team, the 0-3 day closure rate has increased significantly, from under 20% to 40-60% monthly. I drove this improvement through engaging the team and improving the customer journey through a focus on phone based contact to the customer. The team's quality has also consistently been a 95-100% pass rate.I completed the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Course, which helped me to improve the efficiency of the team. I have also been involved in a number of legacy issue projects within the business, using data to help determine the scope of the customers affected and write mass communications for the business.Outside of my role managing the Customer Relations Team, I have been involved in a number of other activities throughout the business, such as being part of the Responsible Business Council and Climate Task Force, focusing on the business’ ESG strategy.
